There is nothing more powerful than being able to tell your story and to hear someone else’s. Often, reading articles written by others can be a bereaved person’s first connection to someone else who has experienced a similar loss.
We welcome contributions of articles about your own grief experience, whether it’s the story of your loss or a focus on a specific aspect of your grief journey. You don’t have to be a professional writer or have perfect grammar, what we are hoping to have are true and honest accounts of loss, grieving and healing.
Articles submitted may be used on BFO-Toronto’s website, Twitter, Facebook, newsletter, or other publications. They may also be used in our welcome kit for new members. We will always give full writing credit to the author, however we reserve the right to edit articles for grammar, spelling, appropriateness of language used, clarity and length. We will contact you if we choose to use your article and you will receive an edited version.
We thank you for your submissions, but cannot guarantee that all articles will be posted.
